Nicotine salts (nic salts) are a form of nicotine that occurs naturally in tobacco leaf. Unlike freebase nicotine used in standard e-liquids, nic salts are combined with an acid (typically benzoic acid) which lowers the pH — producing a smoother throat hit at higher nicotine concentrations. This means 20mg nic salt feels significantly smoother than 20mg freebase nicotine, making nic salts the preferred choice for smokers switching to vaping and users who want strong nicotine satisfaction without harshness. Which Devices Work With Nic Salts?
Nic salts are designed for use in low-powered, higher-resistance devices — pod kits, MTL starter kits, and refillable pod systems. The 50/50 VG/PG ratio of Heisenberg Nic Salt is optimised for these devices. Using nic salts in high-powered sub-ohm devices is not recommended — the combination of high wattage and high nicotine concentration can deliver an uncomfortably strong nicotine hit. 10mg vs 20mg — Which Strength?
10mg is suited to light to moderate smokers, social smokers, or vapers who are stepping down from higher strengths. 20mg is the maximum legal strength in the us and is suited to heavier smokers, those who smoked 20+ cigarettes per day, or users who find lower strengths don’t satisfy their cravings. Stocking both strengths ensures you can serve the full range of customer profiles. Browse the full 10ml E-Liquid Wholesale UK range for all available brands. Frequently Asked Questions What does Heisenberg taste like?
Heisenberg is a mixed red berry flavour with an intense icy menthol finish. The berry profile is sweet and tangy, with the menthol becoming more prominent on the exhale. It is widely described as one of the most unique and recognisable e-liquid flavours in the us market. What is the difference between Heisenberg Nic Salt and regular Heisenberg?
The flavour is the same iconic Heisenberg profile. The difference is the nicotine type — the nic salt version uses nicotine salt for a smoother throat hit and faster absorption, making it better suited to pod kits and MTL devices. The regular Heisenberg uses freebase nicotine and is available in lower strengths (3mg, 6mg, 12mg). What devices is Heisenberg Nic Salt compatible with?
Heisenberg Nic Salt is compatible with pod kits, MTL starter kits, and refillable pod systems. The 50/50 VG/PG ratio works well in any device designed for 50/50 e-liquids. It is not recommended for sub-ohm tanks or high-wattage devices. Can I buy Heisenberg Nic Salt in bulk for wholesale?
