PG is the thinner of the two e-liquid bases. Mixed with vegetable glycerin (VG), flavor concentrate, and (optionally) liquid nicotine, it becomes finished e-juice. Compared with VG, PG produces less visible vapor but a stronger throat hit and crisper flavor, which is why most balanced recipes use it as part of the base.
How DIY Mixers Use PG Build a base. A 50/50 PG/VG split is the common all-rounder for most tanks and pods.
Dial in throat hit. More PG means a sharper hit and sharper flavor; more VG means smoother, bigger clouds.
Thin a thick mix. Adding PG loosens a high-VG blend so it wicks faster.
