Description
Nitecore i8 Intelligent Battery Charger – Product Description Unlock the power of efficient, high‑capacity charging with the Nitecore i8, an advanced battery charger designed for users who demand performance and reliability. Whether you are a professional photographer, videographer, security personnel, or an avid user of high‑drain devices, the i8 delivers a seamless charging experience by handling up to eight batteries simultaneously. This eliminates the need for multiple chargers and dramatically reduces downtime, keeping you powered and ready for action. Extensive Battery Compatibility The Nitecore i8 supports a wide range of rechargeable battery types and sizes. It accommodates 3.6V / 3.7V lithium‑ion (Li‑ion) and IMR batteries in sizes from 10340 up to 26650, as well as 1.48V Ni‑MH and Ni‑Cd batteries in common sizes including AA, AAA, AAAA, C, and D cells. Please note: the i8 is not compatible with 20700 or 21700 battery sizes. Simultaneous Eight‑Slot Charging With eight independent charging slots, the i8 allows you to charge multiple batteries at once without compromising safety or performance. Each slot operates autonomously, so you can mix different battery types, capacities, and states of charge in a single session. This makes the i8 an indispensable tool for both personal and professional use. Adjustable Charging Speeds To suit different battery needs, the i8 offers flexible charging current options: 0.5A across all eight slots (0.5A x 8) 0.75A across four slots (0.75A x 4) 1.0A across four slots (1.0A x 4) 1.5A across two slots (1.5A x 2) This flexibility allows you to prioritize speed for larger batteries or slower, gentler charging for smaller or older cells. Dual USB Outputs Beyond battery charging, the i8 doubles as a portable charging station. It features dual USB outputs (5V / 2.1A total), enabling you to charge smartphones, tablets, or other USB‑powered devices simultaneously. This added versatility makes the i8 a true all‑in‑one power hub. Advanced Safety Features Safety is at the core of the i8’s design. Built‑in protections include: Overcharge protection – automatically stops charging when a battery is full Reverse polarity protection – prevents damage from incorrectly inserted batteries Short circuit prevention Intelligent battery detection – automatically identifies battery chemistry and adjusts charging parameters (CC, CV, or dV/dt) for optimal safety and longevity Technical Specifications Input: AC 100‑240V, 50/60Hz or DC 12V / 3A Output (Battery): 4.2V ±1% (Li‑ion) / 1.48V ±1% (Ni‑MH/Ni‑Cd) Output (USB): 5V ±5% / 2.1A total Dimensions: 117mm x 101mm x 134.5mm Weight: 488.2g (excluding batteries and power cord) What’s in the Box Nitecore i8 battery charger Standard USA power plug User manual Scratch‑off validation serial number Important Note: Batteries are not included.
